The warm weather is here but the moon still affects the mood. let's talk about the positives and not so positives and what action we can take to better our lot in life.
We are in a country that values human rights. Yes we have made mistakes but every day we try hard as a country to right the mistakes. It takes two to tango. let's all work together.
When I heard today that a basketball team sold for 2 billion dollars, I think to myself why, why are there so many starving and homeless people in that country. Why is the wealth spread so unevenly. Why is there not more scrutiny on the NRA to ban guns.
Whatever the conflict, the bottom line is about money and power in the hands of the few. Abuse of women; money and power, wars in the Arab countries; money and power, drug lords controlling a country; money and power, religious factions promoting violence and abuse of women; money and power.
What can we do to have our voice heard? We live in a country that should be a model for the world. Let's work locally to end child abuse and hunger. Let's feed and educate our children who can't afford a pair of shoes and a healthy meal.
